Soon We'll See the Sunrise

The Way of Saint James (Camino de Santiago in Spanish) is a series of long distance trail routes leading to Santiago de Compostela, the capital city of the Galician region in Spain, dating back to the Middle Ages.

I walked the Camino twice, a physical, emotional and intellectual experience that led to an intimate photographic project, now collected into a small photo book under the title “Soon We’ll See the Sunrise: a Story about the Camino”. An attempt to escape the stereotypical view on this ancient pilgrimage turned tourist attraction. And a tangible memory of mine.
